You Are Invited to Join Us for Easter
Passover is one of the great feasts of the Bible. In the Old Testament, it commemorated God’s redemption of his people from slavery in Egypt and his deliverance of them from judgment.
As the Lord said:
“So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the LORD throughout your generations.”
Exodus 12:14
In the New Testament, we celebrate the greater redemption accomplished by the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Through his death and resurrection, we are redeemed from sin and saved from eternal judgment.
Scripture says:
“For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast … with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”
1 Corinthians 5:7–8
